Cardiac Associates established the first outpatient cardiac cath lab in Maryland and has also established an electrophysiologic lab at Shady Grove Hospital. This outpatient facility is now a standard for diagnostic cath labs throughout the country.

Cardiac Associates is also responsible for establishing the cath lab at Laurel Regional Hospital and has established and directed the largest cardiac rehabilitative center in Maryland.
